Libere LiberisLibere Liberis is a theatrical film about a Haitian father, Liberis, who is faced with issues of communication as well as cultural and generational clashes while raising his Haitian-American children. The play was written, produced and directed by Berwick “Underscore” Augustin. It is being used as a learning tool for those who are unaware of the Haitian community and their contribution to U.S. history.
PRAY, HOPE, HELP- A spoken word benefit concert staged in 2010 as an immediate response to assist in the earthquake disaster in Haiti. The multi-lingual event uplifted and motivated many Haitians who lost loved in the tragic catastrophe. The funds from this DVD are still being sent to specific organizations that are effectively assisting relief efforts in Haiti.
